After celebrating on Sunday, July 4th, head out to Hanalei Bay to join in the 9th Annual Hanalei Bay Beach Clean up to pick up all the exploded firework debris left from all the Independence Day revelry. Meet at the Hanalei Pavilion Beach Park on Monday, July 5th at 7:30 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own sunscreen, hats and gloves.

The St. Regis at Princeville Resort is sponsoring the annual beach cleanup, which is a community initiative “for the betterment of Kauai to help improve the quality of life.” It’s a collaborative effort with Makai Golf Club, County of Kauai, Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, Save Our Seas, Pack Your Trash and other civic organizations.

“Water and juice will be provided and each volunteer will be given the chance to win dinner for two at the Mailani Hawaiian dinner show or Sunday brunch at Makana Terrace for two.”
