Bali Hai Ohana headed down to the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen to donate their time and kitchen skills to help prepare food for the hungry.
Lisa Downer, Erin Erickson, Makai Ferry, Kerry Kitchens and Christopher Ordonez assisted Charito Lontoc, who manages the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. They had a great time preparing a tasty and healthy lunch.
Christopher’s children even got involved in the giving by each donating several of their own toys to share with children of families in need.
The Kauai Salvation Army Soup Kitchen can always use your help, whether it’s in sweat equity by helping in the kitchen or via food or monetary donations. Don’t be shy! See what you can do to help. Contact Charito via phone at 808-278-8005 or via email at [email protected]
