Yesterday the Bali Hai Ohana was at the Salvation Army Kokua Soup Kitchen to help prepare and serve a warm meal to those in need.  It was an especially poignant day since they were also preparing for Thanksgiving!  The major task at hand was to shred 50 turkeys for the holiday dinner.  The Salvation Army invites the community to its annual Thanksgiving lunch they are providing today, Wednesday, November 21 from 10am to noon at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.  We, and other volunteers, were busy shredding turkeys, cleaning up, preparing last night’s meal service, serving and cleaning up again.  It makes for a fulfilling day to know that you’re helping others.  The Bali Hai Ohana is glad to give back to the community that has given us so much.

We wish all of you –  our clients, our family, our friends and our business associates a very blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!

P.S.  Lois and Paul want everyone to know that hairnets are “totally in right now” and Paul normally does not look so scruffy  but he’s growing a mustache in honor of “Movember” to bring awareness to men’s health issues, particularly prostate and testicular cancer.
