Looking for a way to have fun AND give back this aloha Friday? Consider the “Golf in Paradise Tournament” being held on Kaua’i at the award winning Princeville Makai Golf Course with immaculate course conditions and 5 ocean front holes on Friday, April 7th 2017.

All proceeds go to ‘Ohana Oasis, whose mission is to provide a week of peace and restoration, a space for bereaved parents to rediscover joy in life after the death of a child here on Kauai’s north shore.   With close to 120 parents on their waiting list, the need for additional retreats and funding for them is clear.  Even for those fortunate enough to have a network of support, it is an all-encompassing, overwhelming life changing event, forcing parents to re-evaluate their lives, their identities, and what is important to them.

Gather together a foursome or make new friends when you are paired up for a fun modified scramble.  Tournament play begins at 8:00am shotgun.  Registration/check in begins at 7:00am. See below for further detail:

“We were given space…space to grieve and space to dream.  Space to be exactly who we are, in our new skin as a bereaved parent.  We were given understanding and acceptance and compassion unlike we will experience anywhere else.’ – Vienne’s Mom

An integral part of the retreat experience is releasing all worries and burdens to feel the love and support of a greater community. Therefore ‘Ohana Oasis makes retreats available to participants free of charge.  Their objective is to create a healing and joy filled week for parents that isn’t clouded by financial concerns.

Mahalo for your support. Hope to see you there.
